Hi I'm Uriel Sandoval

I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. I am an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon

About Me

There are a lot of things that I like to do. I really love to go camping when I have the time. I like to play video games, which is probably the thing that I like the most and would like to build a career around that. Some other things that I like are reading and watching and going to the movies. I speak two languages, Spanish and English, and during High School I took some German but I'm a little rusty. I also like to watch Anime. I play a little bit of piano and used to play the clarinet. I come from a family of four which is my mom, dad, my brother (who is currently serving a mission) and me. I am currently preparing my papers so I can go out and serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true, I have a testimony of it. I know because I have seen the change in my life and in the life of my family when we live according to the gospel. Especially with my brother who is serving a mission. The stories that he shares with us are really inspiring and I have experienced some of the things that he has told us when I go out and help the missionaries from our ward. I try to read the scriptures, both the Book of Mormon and the Bible, as much as I can and I can see the change in my life because it helps me with different things, some that I wouldn't think had to do with the gospel. That's what I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I am the second counselor in my ward's Young Men's presidency and I am in charge of the youth ages 12-15. They can be a handful sometimes but seeing the change in their lives when you teach them good principles is really worth it. I am also in charge of making sure that the youth go to Scout meetings where they can learn lifelong skills which can help them in various aspects of their life.
