Hi I'm Cameron Pitt

I was born and raised in Utah, serving a mission in Pennsylvania Philadelphia, and i am a Mormon!

About Me

I am just graduating high school, and will soon be reporting for my mission. I am the youngest of three children, born into a family with loving parents. All my life I have been involved with athletics. I played defensive end for the football team for all three years of high school. I have also been involved with track, baseball, and rugby. I have had many chances of leadership both as a student body officer, and as my high schools seminary president. I love spending time with my friends and family. I love everything about the outdoors, from snowboarding to biking I love it all.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons, but I think the most prevalent reason is the amazing feeling of love this gospel gives me. Not a day goes by that I don't feel some bit of love, happiness, or peace from this gospel. This is Christ gospel on earth today. And it was him who was the greatest example of love. I know this gospel is true. I know that Christ died for each and everyone of us. He knows us by name, and he knows everything we will go through. Because of his eternal love and his sacrifice he has made it possible for each and everyone of us to return to him. I know that this church is led by him through the voices of our prophet, even Tomas S. Monson. I know this gospel has changed my life for ever, and it can for you too. I am so proud to be a member of this church, I am so proud to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

At my church I have had many chances to serve. I have held many callings in the young mens program. These callings allowed me to be a leader among my peers as we organized meetings, service projects, and weekly activities. Now out side of my callings I strive to live my faith in everyday life, such as school or work. I try to follow the example of Christ in my dealings with others, and in my own personal actions. I try to be kind to everyone I come in contact with. I avoid situations that contradict my personal standards and the standards I hold as a Mormon. And when these situations do arrive I strive to think of Christ and what he would do. I have recently received my mission call to the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission. I cannot wait to give two years of my life to be an example of Christ and this church. I know that this is the ultimate way to live my faith.
