Hi I'm Heather Turner

I'm an educated mother of 3 children, with a wonderful husband and a testimony that Christ is my savior. I am a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah with a love for my family, sports, and the out doors. After serving as a full-time missionary in the Neuquen, Argentina Mission, I graduated from Weber State University with a degree in psychology. A few months after graduation I met my sweetheart, Jeremiah Turner, at a bon-fire singles activity. We saw each other over the fire and there were sparks. We fell in love and were married in the Ogden Temple. We now have two sons and one daughter. I do contract work from home as an editor and love helping out at my childrens' school. As a family we enjoy camping, playing, and laughing together.

Why I am a Mormon

As a college student I found myself in several opportunities where people around me wanted to know what I believed. That's when I really started to question and wonder if I did believe the things I had been taught as a child. I began reading the Book of Mormon regularly and noticed a positive change in my life. One day I knelt in my bedroom and asked Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon was true. I felt a strong confirmation that was. I noticed that when I shared my beliefs with others, I felt happy. That's when I began to feel a desire to serve a mission. As a missionary I learned so much more about the gospel of Jesus Christ and what it really means to live my beliefs, and serve as Christ would. When I came home from my mission I decided that that was the beginning of my missionary service and not the end. Since then, I try to share my testimony of Jesus Christ through my actions with those around me and especially with my children. I try to live the gospel the way that I taught others to live it in Argentina.

How I live my faith

I have helped in many different leadership and teaching capacities at church over the years. Currently I enjoy visiting and teaching women in my neighborhood.
