Hi I'm Rachel Sherman

I love road trips, singing, just dance, celestial parking and food. I am a missionary and most definitely a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary serving in the South Carolina Columbia Mission. I love life, and sharing the gospel with all those I meet. I grew up moving a lot, and I've lived in New York, California, Texas, Utah and Tennessee. I am grateful for the knowledge that the gospel is the same wherever you are. I love singing, dancing, vanilla dr pepper and my best friend/dog, Freckles. I have a strong testimony of the gospel, and am grateful to have grown up in a devout LDS family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life. I chose at a young age to serve my Heavenly Father with all my heart, and have spent my youth trying to reach my spiritual potential. Although I have had trials and my faith has wavered, I have ultimately decided again to dedicate my life to the gospel and the service of my God. I am a Mormon because I have seen the difference that the gospel makes in people's lives. I have seen many friends struggle and become lost because of the lack of truth in their lives. I have a sure testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and I am beyond blessed to have a wonderful family who loves and cares about me. I am so grateful for the atonement, and have seen its power in my life. I am so happy to be able to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and know that the people I teach will find greater happiness and truth in their lives by coming unto Christ.

How I live my faith

I try my hardest to live my life as a representative of Christ. I serve my brothers and sisters, and do my best to set an example of an honest, compassionate person. When life gets tough I turn to my faith in Christ and rely on the comfort of the Holy Ghost. I am grateful for my supportive family that loves me in spite of my weaknesses. I love the gospel with all my heart, and know every aspect to be true. I have been in many situations where I have had to defend my religion, and this has only strengthened my faith to a greater degree. I know without a doubt that this church is true and that living the gospel is the way we can be happy and have peace in this life :).
