Hi I'm Shari

I love to laugh, I love the outdoors, and I LOVE being a mormon!

About Me

I am the second youngest in a family of 8. I just finished my first year of college. I love almost any activity outdoors! I enjoy staying active both physically and being actively involved in the church. I am now serving a mission in Philadelphia! I love the people here and am trying my best to represent our Savior the best I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have prayed and I received an answer! I know that others too can pray to know and they too will come to know of the truth of the restored gospel. This gospel has brought me so much happiness in my life! It has taught me to be a better person. It has improved my outlook on life and has guided me so that I can strive to do and be my best. I have hope in my life because of it, and I know that when everything else seems to go wrong this gospel has been the rock that keeps me safe and gives me comfort! No one is a lost cause. We can all be forgiven and find peace because of Jesus Christ; and I have found that peace in this church.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary for my church, and I love it! I love being able to share what I have found to bring peace, joy, and direction to my life. I get to help others strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ and help them learn that they are truly a child of a Heavenly Father. It truly is such a blessing to me to get to give a year and a half of my life to my Father in Heaven who has given me everything!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Shari
A testimony is something an individual has had a question of either a doctrine or principle of our church and wants to know whether or not it is true. This comes from that person studying the question in their mind, reading scriptures, praying and then waiting for an answer. There are many ways answers may be received. For example you might just feel at peace with what you are asking about or you could feel warm and comforted after your prayer. There are many more ways but these are how the Holy Ghost bares witness to me that what I am asking is true. Show more Show less
