Hi I'm Elizabeth Seru

I was born a raised in Fiji. I now serve as a missionary in Colorado I'm a mormon and I love it!

About Me

I am from Fiji, an island group about the size of a grain of sand if you're looking at it on a map. I am the fourth of seven girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I entered the waters of baptism at the age of eligibility, 8 years old.The age i could distinguish between right and wrong, and the age i was accountable for my actions. I was brought up in the gospel so before i turned 8 my mum and i discussed my baptism and i agreed to be baptised. I have never regretted that decision since then. Heavenly Father has been so merciful to me and i will be forever indebted to him for that. I can never repay the Saviour for what he did for me on the cross and in the garden of Gethsemane but i can try my best to be better than i was the day before. I am not perfect, and nobody is, but through the saviours atoning sacrifice we can strive to be like him and one day return to live with our father in Heaven again. I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true scripture! Because of that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that there's a prophet on the earth today who receives guidance and direction from God for us. I know that Heavenly Father wants us all to return home and he's provided ways to make that possible- priesthood ordinances, prophets, families, etc I also know that I am happiest when I live the teachings of the gospel. I know for a fact that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not just about going to church on sundays but it's a way of life. It's about becoming the sons and daughters of God that he wants us to be.

How I live my faith

I am a college student. There is a lot of peer pressure in school but I'm glad to have friends in my class who are members that i can work with and not feel out of place. People who i can joke and hangout with and not be bothered about vulgar language or dirty jokes. People who i can count on to strengthen my faith and not weaken it. I'm grateful to have such wonderful friends and family. It's their examples and faith that continue to strengthen my testimony.
