Hi I'm Keaton D. Segil

I grew up in Livingston, Montana and I love the outdoors. I will be serving a mission in Johannesburg, South Africa.

About Me

I am a 20 year old young man with many interests such as outdoor activities, sports, and video games. I currently attend BYU Idaho and am preparing to go on a mission to South Africa. I grew up in a small town in Montana and have lots of friends in and out of the church. My mom, brother, and grandma are members but my father is not. I love the business world and working hard. I look forward after my mission, to completing my degree in business marketing, so I can start my own Fortune 500 company.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church by my mother. My father is not a member but always supported my going to church. I wasn't fully converted to the the gospel, until I went to college and lived with people who had the same views as me. My true and complete conversion occurred when I read the Book of Mormon, it confirmed the truthfulness of the gospel and this is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

While at school I served as a gospel doctrine teacher and was the ward financial clerk. These callings really helped me increase my faith because teaching and doing are the best ways to learn. My faith is how I choose to live my life. My friends and I participate in many fun activities always keeping gospel standards in mind. It's really nice to be around people that have high standards and make good choices, which in turn helped me make good choices.
