Hi I'm Kirk Dial

I'm an Engineering Student, Air Force cadet, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, studying Civil Engineering. I got married a little while back. I am preparing to enter the United States Air Force in less than a year as a commissioned officer. I work in a structural engineering office working to get experience outside of the class room. I like to go hunting and fishing, I love to be outdoors. I am also into Ham Radio. My wife knows a nerd because I take my handheld ham radio basically on any trip i take. I served my mission to Panama and I loved it so much! I love the people there and I love speaking spanish

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that are members of The Church of Jesus Christ, and it has been something that has always been a part of my life. I LOVE this gospel. I am so grateful for the knowledge that it gives me. Being that I am going into the military, it brings me so much peace to know that my family is eternal. Not only the one I was born into, but now me and my wife. It is a great blessing to know that no matter what happens, we will still be a family. Death and injury are not the end. They are only different road blocks in the great journey that we are all just experiencing right now. I know without a shadow of a doubt that Joseph Smith did indeed see the Father and the Son. I know because the Spirit testified to me that he did. I am more free with this Gospel than i know I could ever be. It is a rich blessing in my life and I want to be part of it all my life. The peace and joy alone that i feel from this gospel is worth me staying. There is so much more, but talk about heaven on earth! Trial free - Nope!!! But definitely heaven!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continuing to do as the Lord asks. I am FAR from perfect, but i strive to do His will every day. I attend my church meeting, I go to work and live the gospel, I read my scriptures, and pray. I am currently focused a lot on building my marriage up focused on the Lord. Being that I just got married, I want God a part of my relationship just as much as I want my wife.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Kirk Dial
People tell me that I must be smart because I am a Civil Engineering student, but in reality, I just have to work hard. There have been many times in my own life, when failure seemed imminent, bringing a lot of pain and agony with it. Yet in those moments of great fear and concern, He has touched my life, and given me the strength I needed to finish, to continue on, and in the end succeed. I am far from perfect, but He has NEVER let me down. Do things happen that I don't understand? Yes! All the time, but as I trust in my Heavenly Father, eventually my eyes are opened, and my understanding becomes clear as I see what He wanted for me the whole time. You and I are not alone in this universe. As it might often feel and seem that way, the way to over come is to pray, and He will come to comfort and strengthen you. He has for me. Show more Show less
