Hi I'm Shaun

I'm serving in the Utah Salt Lake City East Mission. I'm Canadian. I'm terrible at ice hockey, and thankfully, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up playing every sport I could and still love to play almost all of them. Some of my favorites are definitely golf, basketball, volleyball, water skiing, and wake boarding. I attented BYU and loved every second I was there. I've lived in a small town my whole life and have always kind of been scared of big cities. I like to take life slow and enjoy every second that God has given me to live on this beautiful Earth he created for us.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the many reasons that I have chosen to be a member of the LDS church is that the peace and safety that is promised to me by God by following the commandments. I've learned in my life that I am the happiest not when our team wins a championship basketball game, but when I'm doing what's right and being obedient to God's commandments. I've found true happiness in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I love to share my happiness with every single person that I meet because it changes lives. My life has been changed by Jesus Christ and I thank Him every day for that. I know we have the truth and when we understand who God is and why we are here our lives change for the better.

How I live my faith

One of the big things in my life has always been the many opportunities that I have had to serve others. I don't say that to be boastful but I do get a sincere feeling of love and accomplishment when I serve others and see the happiness that service can bring to others. Whether it's mowing somebody's lawn or shoveling snow it's all the same. When we serve others we serve God and I can't think of anything better to do with my time than to serve a God that loves us and blesses us.
