Hi I'm David

I am a brother, husband and daddy. I am an accountant and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a house of eight children. Meal times were always a great time to come together and see how everyone was doing. No matter how many years go by, this is still one of my favorite ways to reconnect. As a teenager, I taught myself to play golf. Many years later, a number of my brothers have taken up the sport and we share time this way as well. I served a mission for the Church in Southern California. It was one of the best experiences of my life and has shaped the choices I have made in my life since then. I am married to a beautiful woman and have children who all bring a smile to my face each and every day. I love the gospel and the promise it brings of eternal happiness with all those I love and cherish.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in a Mormon household, I have my own testimony that I struggled to receive as a young man. I have relied on it more as the years go by and am happy to report that it continues to grow. I love my Savior and am grateful for the sacrifice He made for me and for each one of you. I love Him and pray that I will have the strength to serve Him all the days of my life.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of the Savior every day of my life. My interactions with people are based on the assumption that I do not know their struggles, so I automatically treat them as kindly as I can. This has made all the difference for me in gaining meaningful friendships and being an all-around happy person. I am sure that if we all worked a little harder to support each other, the world would be an easier place to live.
