Hi I'm Cade Stafford

I'm a temporary New Yorker. I play basketball. I talk about Jesus. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello my name is Cade Stafford and I grew up in a super small town in Idaho. I just recently graduated from good 'ole New Plymouth High School. Some of my hobbies include basketball, watching movies, learning new things, and hanging around the house being crazy and fun with my friends and family. I am an Eagle Scout. Right now I'm serving the Lord full-time and am trying to share His message with as many people as possible. After two years of serving, I want to attend BYU-Idaho as soon as possible. I might want to study and go into something along the lines of advertising or marketing, but it's still just an idea. Family is still the most important thing to me, though, and I can't wait to have one of my own. I'm pretty much a normal guy (even though my friends would disagree), but if there's anything else you'd like to know...look me up on Facebook under "Elder Cade Stafford"! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my testimony of the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is another volume of holy scripture, comparable to the Bible, and is treasured and loved by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is but another testament that Jesus IS the Christ. Because I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, I know that its teaching are true and that they will help and bless my life. I am a Mormon because of the scripture in Matthew that says, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." The "fruits" of the Church of Jesus Christ, that I've seen in my life, testify to me that it is indeed the Church that will get me and my family back to live with my Heavenly Father. I love this church. I love Jesus Christ. I love that I belong to a church "family" that all believes the same things that I do. Mormons rock! :)

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith each and every day by the way that I act and treat those around me. Every time that someone sees me or talks to me, I want them to recognize that I love Jesus Christ and I want to live His teachings. I think that trying to act as if Christ were walking beside me is what helps me be the happiest, friendliest person that I can. I will, of course, make mistakes and have my bad days, but that's not anything that Christ's Atonement can't help me fix!
