Hi I'm Caitlin

I create my own pick-up lines. I love learning circus tricks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up surrounded by theatrical influences and thus love opportunities to use any and all skills that come with studying Theatre. Whether performing on the stage personally or watching a show at a local venue, there's a thrill and joy I find every time. My family has a heavy appreciation for movies and we've been known to speak solely through movie quotes for extended periods. I love to laugh and often find occasion to do so and usually at myself. When you're the daughter who asks every Christmas for a new circus instrument or ability (juggling balls, unicycle, stilts, etc.), you can bet laughing and entertainment will always be involved in her life. Life is meant to be lived and loved, and that's exactly what I strive for daily!

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up in an active LDS home (living the lifestyle and principles) and was taught the standards that come with being a member from my beginning. Early on, I questioned Heavenly Father directly through prayer every time I was taught something to make sure it wasn't a bunch of bologna and that I was getting it right. I cannot impress upon you enough the importance of going to Father directly, telling Him of your concerns and also of your achievements and recognized blessings personally. He does indeed listen intently to each and every child of His -you and I- and so long as you give Him the chance and listen, He will answer. His church, this gospel, gives the pure and simple knowledge of how to truly be happy in this life and the life to come. I know as surely as I am living that this is the true and everlasting gospel our loving Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, taught during His Earthly ministry. I have seen the joy and felt for myself the difference when I choose to follow Him. I love this gospel and invite you to ask and come to know for yourself this very same joy! As a beloved child of God, you deserve nothing but the best.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to be called to two offices in the LDS church namely: Member of the Compassionate Service Committee and a Member of the Activities Committee. The former is all about serving the members in your ward, giving rides, bringing meals or relief to the sick, comforting those in hard times. The latter is in charge of creating exciting weekly activities for the young single adults to come together, have fun, and create opportunities for everyone to more fully get to know one another. I'm also currently preparing myself to serve a full time mission of which I'm so incredibly blessed, enthusiastic, and thrilled to soon be a part of!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Caitlin
When in the court room, witnesses are called up to testify or certify/ attest that what is or will be spoken is truth. When an LDS member bears or speaks their testimony, they are witnesses promising that what is included or will be included about the Church is true. We are able to expand and expound our testimonies by learning the gospel principles and teachings and through the most important witness, the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost's whole purpose is to testify to all that we are God's loved children, that Jesus is the Christ, that Joseph Smith, through holy direction from Heavenly Father and His Son, restored their church upon the Earth, and through obedience to Father's laws and service to others we can return to our Father in the next life.
