Hi I'm Greg

I was born and raised in Utah county. In a family of eight. I love basketball, and this world we live in. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a huge fan of the Utah Jazz. They are my team. But really I love watching basketball no matter what team. I love to play golf. I hardly succeed, but I never fail to try. The mountains are my home. I always long to be in them. I love nature and people. I'm excited and scared to experience life in the fullest!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, for many reasons. The main reason is because of my love, for my savior and my Heavenly parents and the love that they have given me. I've felt their love, they've touched my heart. I can't deny that I know they live, because i know it as certainly as i know the sun will rise. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet through the confirming power of the holy ghost. And I know the Book Of Mormon is true from the same spirit. But most importantly, this gospel has brought me complete happiness. I never want to lose the spirit, happiness and love that I have as I follow the gospels precepts.

How I live my faith

I love doing service with my ward! We have helped out at a local presbyterian church, and it was an awesome time! I love the visits I have with the word members taking them the sacrament, when they can't make it to church to receive it. It's awesome.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

You can receive a wide variety of blessings from reading the Book of Mormon, and all the other scriptures. I know what I have received from reading them. I have felt so much peace, and love through reading them. Not only do you learn more, but you can just feel, and relate to the prophets of old. It's helped me overcome my weaknesses and I know they can help others. That's their purpose. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony to me is the witness that we have of the divinity of this gospel. Which witness we have received through the holy ghost. Show more Show less

What is the First Vision?

The first vision is where the young boy Joseph Smith received an answer to his humble prayer to his father in heaven. He was praying to know which church to join, and he was very confused because of the contradictions between the churches around him and the differences in the doctrines. So he decided to say a prayer out loud to his father in heaven. Heavenly father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and told him to join none of them. But that none of the churches were the church of Jesus Christ. That was the first vision. It really means everything to me and i have such a strong testimony of it. That´s a shortened version, but the official account is on here! Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

I love this question. I can answer it with my testimony. I know that God is our Heavenly Father. Since he is our Heavenly Father he loves us more dearly than we can even imagine. We know that God is a perfected being who has a body of flesh and bones. But what's the most interesting and amazing thing about our Heavenly Father is that his whole purpose, his whole glory is for all of his children to receive all the blessings he has to offer! He is our loving Heavenly Father who is always waiting with open arms to receive us. Show more Show less

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Our bodies are called temples because they are a home for the holy spirit. We have the potential to always have the holy ghost and our heavenly father with us! But we have to keep our bodies clean, and healthy. Our bodies are temples because the holy spirit dwells in them. When we keep our bodies clean he can work with and through us to accomplish the fathers will. We can always receive help and aid through our challenges and problems. Most importantly, we can always feel the divine love that our heavenly father has for us. When we don't take care of our body, the spirit cannot dwell with us. We miss out on all the blessings that a clean, healthy body has. Heavenly father want's us to receive all his blessings. So he commands us to take care of our bodies! I know that by living maintaining a clean and healthy body, our lives are a hundred times easier and happier. Heavenly father promises blessings and he never breaks his promises. Show more Show less
