Hi I'm Megan Guy

I have been called to serve in the Salt Lake City East Mission. I love knowing who I am as a daughter of God. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently serving as a full time missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City East Mission! I am the second of four children to two amazing, faithful parents. My family was sealed on April 22, 1995 and I am so grateful to be able to spend eternity with them! I can't wait until I have a family of my own! I love our Savior and am so glad to know who I am as a daughter of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always gone to church with my family and had always leaned upon my parents' testimonies to create my own, but somewhere in between going to Primary and becoming a part of the youth program, I found myself. I read the Book of Mormon all the way through in order to earn my Young Womenhood Recognition and knew that the teachings were true! I cannot deny the power of the Holy Ghost in my life, and I would not dare deny the love and tender mercies of our Heavenly Father and loving elder brother, Jesus Christ. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that my family is eternal. I know that our Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, leads and guides the Lord's church through divine guidance and revelation. I know that our Father in Heaven wants us to return home to Him, that's why He gave His only begotten son to suffer for us and make the pathway home easier. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

In serving as a full time missionary, I strive to do all that I can to be an example to those around me. Living by the standards set for us by the For Strength of Youth and by other prophetic counsel, it makes life easier. I know that my faith is strengthened when I follow with exact obedience. "Blessings come from obedience, but miracles come from exact obedience."
