Hi I'm Devon Riley Hedding

I love the outdoors, I grew up in the United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am known around my little town for being the kids with too much energy. I have always been very active, and I always try to be as outgoing as possible. I love to long board, fish, hang out with my friends, and play basketball. I try as hard as I can to help everyone be involved with activities and get out and try new things. I love to see someone smile when they find something new that they really enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ is my savior and that Joseph Smith was the first prophet of our newly restored church in these latter days. I have had some amazing experiences in my life that testify of that. I believe that we are here for a reason. We have a loving father in heaven who has a master plan for all of us. I believe that one day I will know the complete and full objective of that plan. I know that these things are true, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my fail as if I was at church every second of every day. Faith isn't something that can be built on a weak foundation. I have always had a firm foundation in the form of my family. they are the biggest examples to me. Before I turned eighteen, I had the opportunity to be the activity committee chairman for my whole stake. A stake is just an easier way of classifying a region of LDS members. While I was the chairman I had so many great experiences helping those who weren't as strong as some others in their faith. I always told them that the best way for them to find their foundation for their faith was to plan a service project for someone that they knew needed it. The results were essentially always the same, faith was found through serving others.
