Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Native Hawaiian. I'm a writer. I love long distance running and swimming. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the middle of five kids, a student, a runner, a swimmer, a missionary, and a world-traveler. And I love writing. I want to have my books published one day. I want to travel and see more of the world. I can't say I know what my future holds after my mission in the Philippines, but I know that the Lord will provide a way. He always has and will as long as we keep our trust in Him!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon not because my parents are Mormons or raised me in the church. I'm a Mormon because I choose to be a Mormon. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel and the joy it brings into my life. One example of this is the Book of Mormon. When you study and ponder over it, you find knowledge that gives you power and joy. I know the Gospel is true and I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve a mission in His church. I hope you can find this joy too because the Gospel, the Book of Mormon, and prayer will answer any question you have. I can promise you that. :D

How I live my faith

I live it in the things I do, especially in writing. I feel that a lot of media sends messages to youth that aren't uplifting or wholesome. I want my own literature to encourage adolescents and teens to stand up for what they know to be right and true, to have courage in the face of adversity, and to have empathy for the people around them. I want these teens (and other readers) to know that they are sons and daughters of God and that He blesses us for standing tall.
