Hi I'm Trevan Cottle

I'm a missionary

About Me

I'm from Pleasant Grove Utah. I have a family of 8. Three brothers, two sisters, and two awesome parents, then myself. I love them all so much. I love music!!! I Played the Drum Set for 7 years. I love to snowboard, wake-board, and long board. I also love cars. I love to hang out on the boat with my family. And I love to create things. I was attending Utah State University working towards a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. But I put all of that on pause so I could take full advantage of the opportunity God gave me to serve him as a full time missionary. Currently I am Serving in the Washington Everett mission. I love being a missionary. There has never been a time in my life where I have felt more productive or happy. When I return home I will resume my old life as a student, but I know that I will be forever changed from this unparalleled experience I have had to represent Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel has given me a point of view which in my eyes is priceless. From the gospel I have learned who I was, who I am, but more importantly who I can become. I know that God is my Father and I know that he loves me and wants the best for me. I also know that in that love he has provided me with an opportunity to grow. I know that God will help me grow. He gave me an example; someone to pattern my life after; someone to follow. That someone is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I know that threw the grace of Jesus Christ I can become who God wants me to be. I know that threw the grace of Jesus Christ, I can Change. I know that this is true. It has changed my life, and it can change yours too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by "trying to be like Jesus. I'm following in his ways. I'm trying to love as he did in all that I do and say. Sometimes I am tempted to make a wrong choice. But I try to listen as the still small voice whispers Love one another as Jesus loved you. I try to show kindness in all that I do. I try to be loving in deed and in thought. Because these are the things Jesus taught." -Some primary song that is still in my head after all of these years. Thank goodness I had a great mom!!!
