Hi I'm Carson

I'm a missionary, adventurist, student and a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Carson Taylor, I am serving a mission in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission and I love music. I love anything to do with the great outdoors, backpacking/hiking, rock climbing, fishing, hunting and anything crazy and fun! I love doing archery and things that people would never picture me doing. I love laughing and having a good time. I play soccer and lacrosse and being active. When I was 17 I enlisted in the Utah National Guard and love every second of it. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents taught me growing up how important this religion is for them and through their examples I have gained my own testimony. I went through some hard times in my life and I learned that the Lord is always there for me. I find comfort in the knowledge that families can be eternal through God's great plan of redemption and I wouldn't trade that for anything. I have read the Book of Mormon and I have prayed about it and I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I love all the blessings that His gospel brings us. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example in everything I do in life and I make sure that I give my Father in Heaven all the credit for the opportunities I have had in my life. My dad taught me growing up that I can do what ever I want if I work hard for it, my options are limitless and over the years I have learned how important it is to include living what I believe to achieve my dreams. Currently I am serving a full time mission and I love serving the Lord. I decided to serve when I was 14 years old and ever since then I did what I needed to do to get to where I am at today.
