Hi I'm Megan

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm an artist. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go fishing, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, basically I just love the outdoors. I also love to draw, I mostly draw peoples faces. I started college and have finished one year, but I'm halting everything so that I can go on a mission. I'm hoping to become a teacher and travel the world doing cultural anthropology or teaching outdoor leadership. I'm the oldest of 6 kids. I have a massive family; grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and family is very important. I also love to sing and did MANY performances during High School; arias are one of my favorite things to sing. Everything I do I love to connect to the gospel. Singing helps me share my testimony. The outdoors brings me closer to my Heavenly Father. I just love the gospel and who it's made me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the gospel, but that doesn't mean that I haven't had my fair share of trials. I choose to stay a member because it's part of who I am. It makes life worth living and gives me a purpose in this life. It helps me to understand who I am and where I'm going. Life's hard, but with the gospel in my life it helps give me that extra comfort or push that I need to make it through the hard times. With the gospel "life is good." It's hard, but it's worth it in the end. It gives me direction and I'm grateful for it. I love this gospel and I know it to be true. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and that Christ loves me as well. Christ died so that I could have a chance to get back to my Heavenly Father. And I'm so grateful for the Holy Ghost and for the influence it's been in my life and how it's helped direct me. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of the Lord and that he did see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith did translate the Book of Mormon and I know it to be another testament of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the word of God. I love this Gospel and I know it is true. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church and apply it's teachings. I don't have a calling right now, but that doesn't mean that I can't help others out in the ward and the neighborhood. Service is a great way that I like to live my faith and being an example. I have 5 younger siblings and so I need to be a good example to them. Just being an example helps me live my faith better, I want to be like Christ because he was the ultimate example for all of use. So I'm trying by doing my best at living the gospel so that hopefully others will want to live the gospel. I particularly love working with the youth. I love going to girls camp and such and helping the youth build their own testimonies.
