Hi I'm Austin Call

I'm from Highland, Utah, I love art, I sing, and I play Ultimate. I'm a thinker and a friend to all. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a suburb of Vancouver, Washington, and moved to Utah when I was eight. I have had a love of reading since I was very young. I used to go to the library with my mom and pick out as many books as I could and just read for hours. I still love to read, and I try to sneak as much of it as I can in between the cracks of my busy life. During high school I served for two years as a member of the Student Council, was involved in drama and choir, and helped to start our school's nationally recognized Ultimate (frisbee) team. I loved learning how to be a leader and a follower through my many different experiences, and am currently applying those skills I learned to serve a full time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church, but my parents were very careful not to push me, or any of my siblings into believing simply because of tradition. I have seen the example of my parents, and seen the joy that it brings to their marriage

How I live my faith

The area I live in is very largely Mormon, and thus didn't have many obvious opportunities for me to share my faith. But I did my best to be an example to others by living the gospel with a positive attitude. I served as a leader in many church youth groups and learned to love my peers through this. I believe that I live my faith just as much outside of church as I do in it, if not more. I have seen how the gospel of Jesus Christ blesses and improves the everyday choices we make, and how we decide to treat each other. As we are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father, acting upon that fact and learning to love all, even our enemies, will change our lives for the better.
