Hi I'm Sara

I grew up on my family's farm in a small Utah town. I love farming, running, music, and just being unique. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm from a small farming town in Utah, where I became passionate for everything around me. I love to work on my family's farm, and do anything involving the outdoors, whether it's running, shooting, or camping. Music is one of my favorite things about life. I enjoy playing just about any instrument I can get my hands on. I attended college studying Agricultural Plant Science and Religious Studies. I love the Gospel and am serving a mission in Portland, Oregon.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I can't live life without it! I LOVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, found on the earth in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have a testimony of our loving Heavenly Father, and the unique plan He has for each of us. I know that our elder brother, Jesus Christ, is our Savior, and that he suffered for each one of us. He knows our pains, our afflictions, our joys, our triumphs. Jesus Christ wanted to know exactly what each one of us has been through, because His love extends so much more than we can humanly understand. He loves us, and wants to be able to help us through everything that we experience, and will do so, as we come unto Him. His atonement, his sacrifice for us, is powerful and true. I have experienced it in my own life countless times, and I know that he forgives us of our mistakes and shortcomings, whether small or large, He forgives each and every one of us. The Holy Ghost is a great asset to our lives. It has provided me with guidance and inspiration that have helped me through the worst of times, and has uplifted me beyond belief in the best of times. I am so grateful for all that our Father in Heaven has done for me. He has blessed me far more than I ever deserve, and continues to bless me despite all of my many weaknesses. I know that these weaknesses are given to us for a reason, and that we can make them strengths through God. I have a great testimony of faith. It is one of the greatest blessings that we have been given. Even a small amount of faith can and will work miracles. It inspires me to work harder, go farther, believe more, learn more, serve better, and live my life as close to the Savior as possible. I know that each of us has the opportunity to live with our family throughout the eternities. We will see our loved ones after they have passed on. God loves each of each of us fully and individually, and wants us to return to live with Him and our entire heavenly family again. I love the Gospel!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in every way, every day. I love to express my love for our Savior, Jesus Christ, and his gospel by giving thanks for all that He has created for each of us. I love being outside, where I can experience the beauty of nature, whether it is seeing a field of grain, hearing the cows eating in the pastures, and watching the sun rise and set. I love to live my faith through work. I love to serve! I have been blessed with the wonderful opportunities to shovel snow off driveways for people in the winter with my family, pull weeds in the garden, and serve in leadership positions in extracurricular activities. I have been able to play the piano and organ for church meetings since I was twelve years old, and it has been such a blessing in my life to praise God through music. The biggest way, and most impactful in my life, that I get to live my faith is by being happy. I love to smile and be joyful. There is so much in the world to be happy about! I am serving my mission because I want to help others be happy. More than anything, I want to share the happiness and love that the Gospel blesses each one of us with.
