Hi I'm Jacob

I've grown up in the United States. I'm currently going to school to get a degree in plant sciences. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy reading, writing, and drawing comics. I'm very interested in agricultural sciences, and I'm currently in college right now to get a degree in this field. I'm also a bit of a nerd, because I love Star Wars.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, now I can understand how some may be skeptical about my reasons for being a member. I mean after being raised in the church what else was I going to do but stay a member. Well let me just say I could easily leave whenever I want to no one will stop me. Now yes there would be those who wouldn't want me to leave like my family, but even if I did leave they would still love me. The reason I'm still a member is because I decided to find out for myself if it was true; by praying and searching the scriptures (James 1:5). And you know what after a while the Lord answered my prayers and told me that it was true and with that I decided I would do all that I could to be faithful to Him and His gospel. I also decided that no matter where He would send me in the world that I would share His gospel with everyone that I could. Kind of like Paul, not that I'm comparing myself to him, no he was far better man than I am. I just meant that like him after gaining a testimony of the truth I share it with the people (Acts 9: 18, 20).

How I live my faith

When it comes to how I live my faith; I do my best to live what the church teaches and to just help others within my community and ward where I can. I also except any calling or responsibilities that the church leaders give me, and I do my best to fulfill them.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a spiritual witness from God about the truth of all things. He gives us this witness through the Holy Ghost, which speaks to our spirits to help us know what the truth is and how to find it. Show more Show less
