Hi I'm Jezelle

I grew up in California. I am a basketball fanatic. I love jamming on the ukulele. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student studying therapeutic recreation. I hope to work with adolescents at risk once I graduate. I love being active and playing all different types of sports, but mostly basketball and volleyball. Music is my outlet. I usually play the ukulele or piano. One of my future goals is to travel around the world. So far I have only been to Belize, but I look forward to all my future adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I was raised in the LDS church since I was a member so I never had one of those big conversion experiences, but as I have grown older and experienced life events, I have come to know my Savior. He has helped me through the toughest times of life and continues to strengthen me as long as I rely on Him. I follow the gospel of Jesus Christ simply because it brings me happiness. I am happy to know I am a daughter of God and that he loves me just like he loves all his other children and wants the best for each of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others to the best of my ability. For example, if I see someone who is looking a little sad I just smile and stop to talk to him or her. I also help a lot with organizing activities which help build ward unity like Halloween Party's and simple luncheons.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Jezelle
We can increase our faith in Jesus Christ by doing the simple things such as praying, reading scriptures, and going to church. By doing these things with a sincere heart your faith will begin to grow. Now you won't recognize it at first, but in time you will see the blessings which come along with faith. Show more Show less
