Hi I'm Annette

I grew up in Denver. I am a mother and grandmother. I like to travel. I am a Mormon

About Me

I like to read, knit and grow a garden. I help a friend with her crocheting when she has problems making a bed cover. Serving a mission for my church has brought so much joy into my life. There are so many good people in the world who are looking for peace, a place to worship, and to have a church family. That is what this church has done for me and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about 14 I decided to find out for myself if the Church was true. I had been raised in the Church. I prayed to know and received an answer to my prayer that the Church is true. It has helped me through my life. My husband died of cancer in 2009. Because of learning early in my life that the Church was true I was able to handle my grief, later to remarry and find happiness again. My faith has grown stronger over the years and every time I read the Book of Mormon, I feel a closeness to my Heavenly Father that brings me peace in no other way. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I use all these things to help others now that I am serving a mission. Coming to know Jesus Christ is my savior brings me peace. Serving others brings me joy.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week. I am a visiting teacher. I pray to my Heavenly Father morning and night. I try to make other people happy by a simple smile or hello. If I see a person who needs a helping hand, I try to do that.

How can I know Mormonism is true?
