Hi I'm Tommy Dedrick

I'm from Yorba Linda, CA. I love playing sports. I love to Laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've played baseball since i was 4 years old with my Dad and two older Brothers. They've always been the heroes in my life! I was the Captain of my Baseball and Football teams throughout high school and loved every minute of the high school journey. I even tried out being the Senior Class vice-president! If i'm not on the baseball diamond or the grid-iron, you'll either find me at the Beach, at Church, with a bunch of friends or doing missionary work!

Why I am a Mormon

Each person in the church must have their own conversion process, or else they'll find themselves drifted away from the church. Growing up I was the kid that everyone identified with the Mormon Church, happy-go-lucky, and always doing my best to be a good person. Then it all of a sudden occurred to me that now that my two older brothers had served missions, I was next in line! How can I be sure of what I know before going to share it with everyone in my path. To see where my religion would be taking me in the future, I had to recognize what it had done for me in the past. I noticed how all my friends were slowly falling away from the moral standards that I had held near and dear to my heart. My religion was my rock, my foundation for all the success in life thus far. It began to mean the world to me, especially during my senior year of high school. I had to choose the acceptance of my friends, or the Peace that the Savior has brought me throughout all the years. The answer then became clear. I knew what i needed to do. I Love how the Church makes sense. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He had called prophets throughout all of history till the time of Christ. He has continued to call prophets after Christ.

How I live my faith

"When ye are in the Service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God." That being my favorite verse in the Book of Mormon. I know that I can serve all those i meet, whether it's a great big smile for those that pass me by or painting a fence for a neighbor. The greatest way I serve others is to teach them how they can have more joy in their life than ever before. You can find that joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ, so I love to share what I know at all times. Because i serve my brothers and sisters in the world, I can always be an example for what I believe, and help others return to live with our Heavenly Father as well.
