Hi I'm Angelina

I am Canadian. I have a sister and a brother. I like swimming. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Angelina. I enjoy swimming, rugby, running, computers and hanging out with friends. I am interested in becoming a hairdresser or dietitian, I was practicing AutoCAD with a land development company for the years leading up to my mission. I have the opportunity to serve as a missionary from October 2013 for a period of 18 months in Jacksonville, Florida Mission. I look forward to all the things I have yet to experience in life during and after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints brings more comfort and happiness into my life than anything else. I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I have prayed and asked God. As I have attended church and studied the Book of Mormon and Bible God has and continues to hear my prayers. I know this because of the calm re-assuring feeling I get each time I follow the example of Jesus Christ and keep the commandments God has given his children. Being a Mormon taught me who I am, and that is a daughter of God, and I am beyond grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus. Through doing the small daily things like personal scripture study and prayer I am able to draw close to Him and gain a better understanding of how much he loves me and how I can better follow His example. During times of trial I turn to my Savior, Jesus Christ. He suffered bled and died for me and for each of us so that if we have faith, repent, and follow Him, we can too return to live in our Heavenly Fathers presence. When I feel alone and like things are not working out it comforts me to know without a doubt that our Savior Jesus Christ suffered the pains of all my grief and sorrow and that if I turn to Him he will always be there and knows exactly what I am going through and so much more. I know that He knows me so much better than I know myself, that He will not give me a trial save he shall prepare a way that I may accomplish the things that he has commanded me to do. (1 Nephi 3:7) I love Him and trust in Him. He is the center of how I live my faith.
