Hi I'm Kailey

I grew up in Idaho. Attended Utah State. I'm headed to England for 18 months to share the gospel.

About Me

I'm just a simple ordinary person. I'm just trying to make it through school, not go into debt, deal with balancing all of the pressures of everyday. I try to stay active, eat healthy, be a good friend, be a good person. I dream of working in the healthcare field, having a family, and of reaching my greatest potential in this life. I have had the opportunity of becoming a Wilderness First Responder, running the Top of Utah Marathon, and becoming a river guide. I never want to miss an opportunity to learn and to stretch myself. I truly believe that all people are capable of accomplishing far more than he or she can even begin to imagine. I love life and I always want to. As Marjorie Pay Hinkley said "the trick is to enjoy life. Dont wish away your days waiting for better ones ahead."

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Its simple. This gospel is my everything. It is the reason that I have peace and happiness when life gets crazy. It is the reason that I can wake up each morning with a purpose. It is the reason that I can move forward. There have been many times in my life when I have messed up big time, when I have been lower than low, and it is only because of the gospel and the atonement of Jesus Christ that I have made it through. I know that this church is good, it is true. It has given me peace and joy and has healed my heart and soul when nothing else could. It is the reason I know my purpose here on Earth and where I am going. My life has been so blessed because of this gospel and with my simple testimony I urge anyone and everyone to try it out. Just try it. Thats it. I'm not asking you to be dunked in the baptismal font, just a willing and open heart. I promise that if your heart is in the right place, you will know, just as I know, with all that I have, that the gospel is true. It is the best thing in my life, it is my life, and I would give my life for it.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith has far less to do with the number or type of callings that I have and far more to do with the type of person I am and the activities I do when I am alone. I am far far far from perfect but I can honestly say that I try. I try to be a better, more compassionate, more patient, more selfless person each day. Some days are complete failures and I learn, and then I try again. Thats what this gospel is, its a gospel of progression and I love it.
