Hi I'm Briana Williams

I love psychology, learning, and reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied two years of theater in college before I found out I was a terrible actor. I will change my major to psychology, something that fascinates me--especially since I have personal experience. I have struggled many years against mental disorder and feel like I can help others through similar circumstances. One of my favorite hobbies is Jiu-Jitsu, a ground-based martial art. I love reading books, especially ones about how the brain works. Two of my favorites are Why Gender Matters and The Talent Code.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is the happiest thing I know. It has given me reason to come close to God and to become a better person. Every day I strive to be more like the Savior and find joy in serving others. I grew up in a Mormon family, but I didn't know it was true myself for a long time. I started to find out for myself senior year of high school when I committed to pray and read the Book of Mormon every day. I didn't know instantly--I planted a seed of faith (a desire to find out). As I continued to learn and exercise that faith, I started to believe. That belief grew stronger and stronger. Through much time, trial, and most of all prayer, I knew it was true. It has blessed my life deeply.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints--volunteering to share the gospel with others for a year and a half. I want to help others come to know Jesus Christ personally and make decisions that will bring greater happiness to their lives.
