Hi I'm Katie

I grew up in Utah. I am a student at a state university. I am going on a mission to Indiana, Indianapolis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I study Law and Constitutional Studies and Economics at a University. I play lacrosse for the women's club team. I like to play any sport although volleyball is my least favorite. I read a lot and write a little. I am a sister. an aunt, and a daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have personally felt Christ's love heal me. When I was at a low point in my life, he reached out and made me feel loved. I know that this is the true church because every time I learn more about the gospel I feel that same love enveloping me. I know that God loves me and that Christ is my savior and redeemer. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God and that God directs him on how to lead this church. I know this is the true church and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am called to be a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am serving in Indiana. I am excited to show others my faith and bring them closer to God. Previously I have held multiple callings such as an instructor and visiting teacher coordinator.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

A missionaries purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. When a missionary visits the homes of an investigator they will teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, his atonement and his resurrection. Missionaries teach about the plan of salvation and about how we can return to our Heavenly Father. A missionaries will talk about Christ and his love for everyone and they will invite you to pray and feel that love. Show more Show less
