Hi I'm Erica

I'm from Vegas. I don't gamble and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Las Vegas! Whenever I tell people this they are either really excited or just surprised that they have mormons there. I come from a large family, being the youngest of eight is the best. I love trying new things, whether it comes to food or different activities. I enjoy camping, playing music, listening to reggae, and being around my family. I am currently majoring in Biology in hopes of becoming.. something! Still figuring that out but it will come.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member my whole life, people may think that I am not a convert to the Church. However that is not true. I have been converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By reading the Book of Mormon I have gotten to know the true principals that will allow me to return back to my Father in Heaven. I know that my Heavenly Father knows and loves me more than anything. He gave the world His Son so that we could receive a body and return back to them. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and the Atonement. He is my Savior. I am so grateful that we have the opportunity to have a prophet to lead and guide us today just like in olden times. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God and could only translate the Book of Mormon by the power of God. I've chosen to be a member of His church because it brings so many blessings and joy to my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. By reading my scriptures, praying, and studying I gain a greater knowledge of the things that my Heavenly Father wants for me. At Church the acts that I did previously in the week allow me to share information that I have learned from my own studying and help others. I love being at Church and having the opportunity to explain what a scripture means and what I got from it. Also it gives me the chance to look at things in a different light when they share something.
