Hi I'm The Roberts

We live in Shropshire, have 4 children, and we enjoy the beautiful English country side. We are Mormons.

About Me

We enjoy mixing with people and getting to know new people every day. Music and art are some of our passions. Dad was ill in the hospital for quite some time and while he was there he found art a good way to share how he was feeling. We still love to express ourselves through art today. We love to travel and see new places and explore God's creations. We have had a lot of struggles in our life that the church and Jesus Christ have helped us through. We have special needs children and have had to fight through illness and trials to help them enjoy and live life. Through all of our illness and trials we figured that we could either sit and give up or go out and move on. The fellowship of the church and the love of Jesus Christ helped to give us that courage to act and move on and enjoy the good things in life. One thing that has helped us grow closer together is to go out and work in the garden. We love being in the nature and felling that comfort and relaxation that comes from it.

Why I am a Mormon

As the missionaries taught our family, it was something that our hearts knew to be true and we couldn't deny it. The gospel just made sense, and everything seemed to fit. It was as if the missionaries were reminding us of something we already knew. As we really set out and did the things that the missionaries asked us to do such as read the Book of Mormon and pray, the spirit was able to touch our hearts and let us know that the things we read, and learned are true. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ has given us a purpose in life to live for. It has helped and blessed our family in so many ways.

How I live my faith

We love to reach out to the ward through visiting teaching and home teaching. We are all brother's and sisters and it is up to us to be there for each other to help in any way we can, whether it be stopping in, visiting someone who is lonely, or if it be getting out and helping someone paint or room or move homes. We look for opportunities to serve where ever we can. One of the greatest callings we believe we have is the calling to look after our family, to love and support them. Family is the center of our Heavenly Father's plan and we strive to help raise our children in a strong Christian home.
