Hi I'm Miranda

I'm a mom of 5, a dance teacher, choreographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started dancing at Walt Disney World in Florida in the entertainment/ costume dept.I choreograph plays for TAG and teach dance classes, I love Ballroom dancing, gardening, almost as much s I love my husband, 5 kids and 2 dogs. I enjoy reading historical fiction, hiking and anything chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I had Mormon friends growing up, I respected them and their standards of honesty, integrity, kindness, charity and wanted to have that peace that each of them , who lived their religion, seemed to have. I decided my second year of college to give it 100% of my time and effort to live life like a Mormon for 1 full year. I would do what they did, act like they acted, because you know " Faith without works is dead", as it says in the New Testament in James. I did just that, at the end of the year, I'd found the joy, peace and happiness I'd been looking for. I've never looked back, I'm am continuing to learn how to be more like Jesus Christ every day.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth, I've always worked with the youth. I have planned a lot of different activities, from back packing and high adventure activities , emergency swimming, to spiritual and educational lessons and service projects and ways in which we can all serve in our communities. I also teach an early morning seminary class where we study the scriptures and how they apply in our lives. I've been teaching it for for 4 years to juniors and seniors in high school. We trade off each year: Old Testament, New Testament , Book Of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenants. All 4 books of scripture work together and are important in testifying about Jesus Christ and his mission. Teaching those around us about the Savior and the part he plays in each of our lives is invaluable and gives us hope and peace in an ever changing world.
