Hi I'm Annie

I'm 19 years old. I'm a soon-to-be missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just completed my freshman year of college and am preparing to serve in the Texas Houston Mission, speaking in the Spanish language. I love to play soccer, exercise, explore the outdoors, and spend time with family and friends. I am also a music fanatic. I love to play the piano and guitar, and you can always find me listening to music! I love to travel, and have spent time serving the people in Cambodia, Fiji, and Tonga where I learned that service, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the relationships you create with others are what bring true joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I find joy in living this gospel. As I continue to learn, read, and experience more, my faith and testimony of this gospel increases. I know that I am never alone, and I find great comfort and support through my Savior, Jesus Christ. I have no greater desire than to share what brings me joy and what I know to be true with others so that they can feel of that same happiness. I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I know it is true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my absolute best to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I strive to set a good example for others to follow. I know that I am far from perfect, but as I strive to do the things Christ would do I find myself a happier person--regardless of my many flaws. Through experiences in service and leadership, I have learned to love everyone without bounds and try my best to have a non-judgmental perspective. My ultimate goal is to see others as Christ sees them--as they can become--and do all I can to help them reach their potential. Service is the ultimate gesture of love!
