Hi I'm Kelsey

I love cookie dough, dinosaurs, and snowboarding. I lived in London. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a travel enthusiast, a cookie dough eater, a daughter, a sister and soon to be a missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission. I am that girl who laughs about something that happened five days earlier. I love to delight in life and all it has to offer. I studied abroad in London and fell in love with the area, the friends I made there and the memories as well. I love being outside with my dogs and floating down the river in the summertime. I love turning up music with my friends and laughing as we try to sing the words. I am a college student studying Public Relations and Business Management and will graduate after returning from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I genuinely cannot imagine my life without the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that it is a continual growing process; that I learn more and more as I read The Book of Mormon and as I attend church. I am a Mormon because it helps me create a more personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. I know that I can turn to God through anything and everything and that He will be there. I am a Mormon because God has never abandoned me. I have strengthened my testimony of trials and have seen that these trials are given to me that I may learn, grow and become the person He would have me be. I am a Mormon because I have felt the spirit as I attend church and read the scriptures. I am a Mormon because I am grateful for the perspective it gives me of life. I know that families can be together forever, and that this is something that Heavenly Father wants. I am grateful for the sacrifice of my Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered so much so that we could all repent of our sins and return to live with him again. I am grateful for the strength this gospel gives me. I know that I can do all things with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am grateful for the various assignments in the church as they help me to stay involved, to learn and to grow as a member of this church. I have served as a teacher for 5-year-olds, women 18 and older, as an activities coordinator and visiting teacher. Soon, I will be serving as a missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission.
