Hi I'm Joel

I grew up in Sweden in a family of seven. Just your regular tall guy.

About Me

Tall skinny guy with an interest in music and martial arts. Video games always float my boat aswell. I am fascinated by science and technology and try to stay informed about the latest breakthroughs.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so it might seem a given but I've chosen to remain in the church because I believe it to be true. After studying the principles and putting them to the test, considering the alternatives and thinking it through I made an intellectual decision that I could not be happier any other way. But this was not enough and I felt I needed a deeper spiritual confirmation and after praying to know it was true with intent on acting on the answer I received, I got an answer that needs to be experienced to be understood. An answer that every member of this church received through prayer.

How I live my faith

Being a mormon to me means that I try to make a concerted effort to take the higher road and to be a person that reflects what I believe. The outward expression of a sane Christian looks widely the same no matter the faith but as being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teaches me that I must learn and think for myself, I seek out truth where ever I come across it. But most importantly I try to replace any negative emotion with love and understanding for other people. A bit cliche maybe but a true and tested principle none the less
