Hi I'm Jenny Graham

I grew up in Utah. I am currently serving a mission in San Juan Puerto Rico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah where I learned to love the outdoors. I love being in the mountains; I feel closest to heaven as I am surrounded by God's creations. I am the youngest of 4 children. My family is my greatest support system. They are my best friends. Every part of me is a direct result of their great example. I studied Early Childhood Education and graduated last year with my certification. I love my job! To be a teacher is very rewarding and it's worth all the hard work.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it to be true. Heavenly Father has again reached out in love to restore His gospel and to organize the true church of Christ on the face of the Earth again. Heavenly Father has lovingly given us, His children, all of the necessary tools needed to be able to make all the correct choices that lead us back to Him. It is up to us to do the research and to act. Growing up in the church, I learned the doctrine from a young age. I was surrounded by good examples who taught me the gospel with lots of love. I never necessarily doubted that the church was true. I would do all the things that leaders and teachers would invite me to do and slowly, like the rising sun, I gained my own testimony of the gospel. I am not sure I was even aware of my own testimony until later in life when I was faced with challenges that turned me to God. I have read the Book of Mormon. I have prayed to know if it is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. I have received an answer from my Heavenly Father to those prayers. I know, through the power of the Holy Ghost, that these things are true. I have had many experiences that have helped me to understand that the gospel of Jesus Christ, His priesthood authority and the fullness of the plan of salvation have been restored. With that knowledge I have also come to understand, very deeply, that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father and that He loves me and knows me personally. I know He is aware of me and my family. This knowledge brings more peace and happiness to my soul than anything else. That is why I am a Mormon. I am glad that I can say that I have experimented on God's word and I have proved Him. I invite you to do the same; it is worth it.

How I live my faith

I am currently living in Puerto Rico, serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have the greatest calling in the church! I've grown closer to my Savior Jesus Christ as I've dedicated all my time to share His gospel with the wonderful people of Puerto Rico. My calling as a missionary is a unique one. This is the closest I have been to living my life as my Savior lived His. We have the privilege to enter people's homes, to get to know them and to learn with them as we talk about the gospel and share with them what we know to be true. We look for service opportunities and strive each day to live a life as He would have done; full of love. As a missionary I have learned many things. Each experience, each person, each day brings me to recognize how God's hand is in every part of His work. I'm able to recognize His blessings that he sends to us each day. I understand more clearly the love that He has for me personally and also for every single one of His children. I know that He is aware of each one of us; it is manifest as He utilizes my companion and I to assist Him in reaching out to His children. He is a loving God. I know that He is the only one who truly knows every part of us; better than we know ourselves. His love never ceases to amaze me and I'm certain that I can't comprehend even a tenth part of His infinite love. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to help share this love and to be an instrument for my Father in Heaven.
