Hi I'm Alex Kuresa

I grew up in Logan, Utah. I live life by three "F's"... Faith, Family, and Football. BYU Student.

About Me

I have been called to serve in the Apia, Samoa mission and will report July 3, 2013. I live life by three "F's"... Faith, Family, and Football, in that order. I have been blessed to attend school at Brigham Young University where I play football.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad's family disowned him when he was 18 because he joined the Church. He gave up that which was most precious to him in order to have the gospel in his life and to, someday, raise his family in the gospel. I am a member of this Church because of his sacrifice. He gave up so much because he knew the gospel was true! His story helped me gain a testimony of my own. Like my dad, I will make whatever sacrifice is necessary to make sure my testimony remains strong.

How I live my faith

I coach football at a local high school. I try to share some of the knowledge I have acquired while playing college football with the kids I coach, so that they will have a better chance of fulfilling their college dreams, if they so choose. I am also in charge of organizing activities and "get-togethers" in my young adult ward, which I enjoy a lot. It is fun to get everyone together to laugh, share stories, play games, and do service.
