Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a small town girl who loves life! I love sports and the outdoors. I am a daughter of God. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kelli. I am a student majoring in business management with an emphasis in organizational behavior and human resource. I love learning, going to school, and meeting new people. I also throw the javelin for a Divison 1 track and field team. I am very active and love running and all sports. I love being with my family - they are the most important people in my life and mean the world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of the joy that has come to my life and the personal witness I have had that it is God's true and living church. My knowledge of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, the Savior's atonement, and the Book of Mormon have changed my life. They have made me into the person I am today. The peace, joy, and happiness that come from living the principles of the gospel are immeasurable. I read the Book of Mormon continuously because I know it is the word of God and through it we can learn God's plan for each one of us. In the introduction it asks us to ponder on its message and to pray to know if it is true and we will receive an answer from our Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that he continues to speak to His children today through a living prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I love this gospel and know it is true!

How I live my faith

I am serving in the Oregon, Portland mission as a representative of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I strive to follow my Savior in everything I do and love this gospel with all my heart. I enjoy serving others and giving of myself to help improve others lives. I want to make a difference one person at a time. It is such a privilege to devote a year and a half to serving our Heavenly Father and older brother Jesus Christ. I am very involved in the community from doing service projects to formerly serving as the mayor of the youth city council. Each day I look for opportunities to serve, whether it be as simple as a smile and compliment or an hour of my time. Serving brings me great joy!
