Hi I'm Angie

I am a Mormon

About Me

I am married to wonderful man who I am so grateful for everyday, his love and support is so precious to me. We have five children aged 10, 8, 4, 3 and 1, being a Mum is very hard work and life can be busy but I love them with all my heart and believe that family is the most important thing in life. I love to read, draw and I like to try different crafts. I have a love for science and space.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up with Parents who did not believe in God but felt it vital that my brothers and I develop our own beliefs, I always had so many of my own ideas and ideals around the subject of God, our purpose on Earth and family, but they never seemed to fit in with any religion I came across. When I met my husband, he used his faith as a Mormon to answer my questions. I learned more and it all just felt so right. I now know where I came from, why I am here and where I am going after I die. I love the happiness that I feel because of this knowledge. This gospel just makes so much sense to me. The Book of Mormon is true and I know this because as I continue to read it, I feel it and I have asked our Heavenly Father to help me to know the truth. He did so by the peaceful calm feeling of the Holy Ghost. I'm a Mormon because I know it's true.

How I live my faith

I attended church every Sunday with my family. As a Mum every day has it challenges and I try to face them with faith in the Lord. I take time to pray and communicate with my Heavenly Father and express my gratitude for all the blessings He gives me and my family. The am thankful for relationships I have formed by working with other women in the church, it is really fulfilling and has helped me to build my confidence. I am thankful for the friendships I have made so far and look forward to making more, especially with the women I visit to teach each month.
