Hi I'm Sandy

Hi my name is Sandy, I grew up in a small Yorkshire town in England. I have been back off my mission a good few years.

About Me

I started an apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery when I was16, and after getting my qualification I decided to serve a full time mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. During my 2 years serving the Lord I grew an appreciation for my Saviour's sacrifice for me and the rest of His children. It was during this time that my testimony grew and I was very happy to teach people the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am now currently serving in my ward as a ward missionary; I am very grateful for the gospel in my life and the wonderful blessings it gives me daily!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a single parent family and my mum struggled to provide us with many things. Being brought to church from a very young age was very humbling for me as I was never denied the gospel. Many of my friends who weren't members of the church had lots of things and I always felt jealous of them; now looking back I see that they were missing the most important - the gospel.

How I live my faith

For me, being a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is a very big part of my life. I believe that no matter where we are in life, our Father is always there for us - this has always been a great comfort to me. I know that as I live my life in harmony and continue to be obedient to our Saviour, I will be able to live with him again.
