Hi I'm Peyton Lorraine

I'm a sophomore attending an LDS private School in Utah. I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. I Am A Mormon!

About Me

I Love Basketball and Running. I have visited 11 different countries. (Mostly European) I love to hang out with my friends on the weekends. I wake up at 5:30 every morning to go to seminary. (And I love it!) I look forward to going to church every Sunday, getting to see my friends and grow my testimony (And cry when things get really spiritual) I have a cow in my backyard, a horse in my front yard, a big Australian Shepard on my front porch, and a black cat on my back porch. I have a very strong testimony of the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ. I love every single member of my family, and I would do anything for them! (Including volunteering to take their place as a tribute in the Hunger Games, as Katniss does so willingly and bravely for her sister in my favorite book series!)

Why I am a Mormon

Because of the wonderful feelings I get when I know I am serving God. Every time I read a passage of scripture from the Bible or the Book of Mormon I feel my testimony strengthening and I know I am doing God's work. Without the gospel in my life I KNOW I couldn't possibly be as happy as I am with it. Have I had trials? Yes! Has life sometimes seemed unfair and hard at times? Of course It has! But those trials and hard times have only made me stronger, and made me grow closer with my Heavenly Father. We have always been taught that there is opposition in all things. Without Cold you can never really appreciate Warmth. Without fear you can never really appreciate comfort. And without Trials and hard times you can never really appreciate wonderful happy times! I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know that there was a prophet named Joseph Smith on the earth many many years ago, who restored this wonderful gospel at the Latter Day. I know that we have a modern day prophet, and that it has been prophesied that until the second coming of Christ, there will always be a modern day prophet to lead us and guide us. I KNOW THAT THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS IS TRUE!

How I live my faith

I am the Secretary of the Mia-Maid class presidency! (The Mia-Maid class is for all the Young Woman between the ages 14-16) I go serve at the Bishop Store House every first Monday of the month with my older sister and our friend. (The Bishop Store House is a place for all the Mormon families who can't afford to get groceries at the regular grocery store, to come with a shopping cart and get all the food and supplies they'll need for the week/month at no charge. It is payed for by the tithing (10% of any amount earned) willingly given by the members of our church)
