Hi I'm Nichola Reynolds

I Have a Husband and 6 Children

About Me

I have been married to my husband for nearly 19 years, I am a mother of 6 Natasha aged 18, Declan aged 16, Madison aged 15, Ethan aged 13, Callum aged 11 and Dylan aged 10. My husband has his own Locksmith business so i usually help him out by doing office duties etc

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a latter-day saint family, i learned about Jesus and characters in the bible and book of mormon from being very little at home and in primary at church then as i got older i then started attending young women's which is for girls aged 12-18 years which is an amazing program i learned that i was a daughter of God and all about my roles and my divine nature of being a young woman and how to lead a good virtuous life aswell as learning to have daily scripture study and prayers and i also learned many life skills such as sewing by completing my personal progress (which is a program designed to teach different skills and it provides spiritual opportunies to become closer to God) then when i was 14 i started attended Seminary which is a scripture study course for 4 years and although it was really hard to do as i got older i realised just how much i had learned. I always had a basic testimony of the Gospel and i knew i had a definate testimony of prayer which is something i learned very early on in my life and i knew i had a Heavenly father who loved me and i felt his love and i recognized how he blessed me every day. I was just happy attending church and living a good life which felt right. I suppose as a person who had been brought up in the Gospel i was a bit late in actually asking if the church was true but it wasn't til i was 18 that i prayed and asked to know if the church was true i believed it to be before just because everything felt so safe and right and because i was just happy but i hadn't received a witness before that to say that i knew with all my heart that it was true and it was at that point that the Holy Ghost bore witness to me that everything i had learned my whole life was true (it wasn't about just being a good girl) that we have a prophet Joseph Smith who restored the gospel, and we have living prophets who lead us and guide us to do what the Lord requires of us and that life is eternal

How I live my faith

I am currently working along side the young Women aged 12-18 in my Ward which i absolutely love, i teach them, and organise activities for them so they can socialise with other boys and girls their own ages and who share the same standards as them and also that they can become closer to our Heavenly Father and gain their own testimonies of the Gospel. I also love going visiting teaching which is where you and another woman in the ward visited other assigned women in the ward at least once a month and you deliver a gospel message and you get to know them and develop friendships and you love and care for them as needed
