Hi I'm Joshua

I have grown up in Utah, and Being LDS has changed my life for the better.

About Me

I have graduated high school with academic honors, I am an eagle scout, and I plan on going to college to get a degree in Aerospace Engineering. I love all kinds of sports, and always have to be active or doing something productive or fun. I am currently serving a mission in Fukuoka Japan and have realized that japanese is a hard language to learn. I can testify that if it wasnt for the the gift of tongues, i probably would not learn the language without the gift of tongues!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up being a Mormon, but when I really felt like I had a testimony I must have been 15. I always felt I was being pushed into it, and I didn't like it. After continuing to read the scriptures, attend testimony meetings, and sit in the missionary discussions for my cousin as he was looking into the church, I finally felt like I had a testimony. It may not have been some crazy experience in recieving a testimony, but through small and simple actions I have come to know that this church is true. I love the gospel and wouldn't want to do anything else with my life than serve the Lord! The gospel of Christ is able to help me so much in my life, that I would want nothing more than to take it to others to watch it bring happiness to them as well!

How I live my faith

I am still in the Young men's, and will continue to be until I leave on my mission. I home teach with my dad every month, and had the opportunity to baptize my cousin and ordain him to an elder. I love participating in any church activity, and I also have a mission call to serve in Fukuoka Japan for two years! 5ish Months later! so I am now in the mtc and I constantly remind myself that if I can stay positive and continue learning the language and keep reaching outwards to people instead of inwards, then I will stop Satan from letting him use his powers against me. Be obedient to the Lord, and the blessings of heaven will pour down upon you!

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

we are able to live with God again, as well as our loved ones after this life. our spirits and bodies separate for a time, but reunite again at the resurrection. to learn more about this, the plan of salvation is the plan that describes all of it in detail about this life, why we are here, what we should do, whatll happen to us after this life is over, and where we came from. In whom should we have faith?

Faith is how conversion starts. To beleive in Christ and that he died for us so we could live with him again if we do our part is why we want to have faith in him. Christ is the head of this church and has done so much for us, that it only seems logic and right that you would want to try in anyway to repay that debt, and the way we can is by believing in him and all that he has done.
