Hi I'm Alyssa Edelmayer

I was born and raised in Rexburg, ID. I am a cosmetologist. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been an outdoors girl, however, I am a licensed cosmetologist. I enjoy just about anything outside including: wakeboarding, snowboarding, fishing, golfing, and hunting. I have grown up playing sports and dancing and have learned valuable life lessons by joining those activities. My family has supported me 110% along the way and I couldnt be more grateful for them. The love of my life has been my anchor in the gospel and has set such a great example for me by also serving a mission Chicago, Illinois. I just recently received my mission call to the Houston, Texas East Mission. I cannot wait to serve the people there.

Why I am a Mormon

I was always raised pretty strong in the gospel but slowly became less active in High School. I was making poor decisions when I met my now best friend. He made me realize how incredible this church really is and how much our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us. I began turning my life around slowly and coming back to church and my testimony has grown so much by just simply knowing that we are able to be forgiven of our sins and be washed clean again. It is so comforting to know all of the blessings that we are able to receive just by following the commandments. It didnt take long for me to be active and ready to take on the next step. After praying daily about what I needed to be doing in life I decided to serve a mission. I couldnt be happier with my decision and cant wait to discover the blessings that are in store for me just by serving!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the nursery and love every second of it! Its so awesome to watch such young kids gain just the smallest testimony and help them grow spiritually. They pick up on more things than I ever imagined and sometimes wonder feel like their faith is so much stronger than mine.
