Hi I'm Kaitlin

I am from California. I love music and soccer. I am an elementary school teacher. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California. I only have one brother but I have a large extended family. I graduated from BYU Idaho with a degree in elementary education. I went on to certify in California only to move back to Idaho when my husband wanted to attend BYU Idaho. I am a 6th grade teacher. I have been happily married to my husband for 2 years. We do not have any children yet, but we are excited for that part of our future. I have played the piano since I was 6 years old. I have played for many church activities, vocal students during school, and community choirs. I also enjoy playing soccer and swimming. I am learning how to be a better cook and love to keep my home clean and organized.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church gave me a strong foundation to base my life. As a child and a teenager I loved the gospel and the purpose I felt it gave me. As a young adult living on my own, my faith and foundation were tested. I learned as I made my choices that the teachings the gospel provided were there to help me be happy. I believe that God loves me and that He does care for me and my happiness. I know that we are here on this earth to learn and to grow. We do that by making mistakes and then learning from those mistakes. I believe that Jesus Christ died for us so that those mistakes we make can be forgiven and we can continue to progress forward. I know that by choosing to follow the commandments and to serve God we can return again to live with Him. I know that through our Heavenly Father, our families can be together even after death. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have of these principles.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church my entire life. I have always worked hard and been excited to participate in the functions of the church. As a teenager, I served as a youth leader and played the piano for my meetings. Now, as an adult, I serve as a music coordinator. I also work with other women in the church to visit and provide service for the members.
