Hi I'm McKade Peterson

I love sports, everything about them is awesome. I love being around people and learning their stories. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to play sports, whether it is backyard or organized. I love to watch sports on TV especially the Green Bay Packers. My family is the most important thing in my life. Without them I would be a nobody. When I return from my mission in Columbus, Ohio, I plan on returning and attending BYU and double majoring in marketing and broadcasting.

Why I am a Mormon

First and foremost, I know that I have a loving and forgiving Heavenly Father. I know that his son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins. These two men, along with the Holy Ghost and his constant companionship, are the foundations of my testimony of this gospel. Built on top of this foundation is the knowledge that I have of the great Plan of Happiness. I know that when I die that I can return to my Father in Heaven and my personal family as well. I have a special needs brother that could die at any time. Because I know that I will live with him again, I don't live with constant paranoia that he will die. I know that we have a living prophet in Thomas S. Monson. I know that he speaks directly from God because every time he speaks I feel good about myself. I know that he is a tool in God's hand and he loves all the members of the church. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and he restored the true and everlasting gospel. I know that every thing happens for a reason. I know that my friends are my friends for a reason, and they are such a huge example to me. They have helped me strengthen my testimony tremendously. I know that this was all made possible by God. I love the feeling I get when I sit in church and listen to the speakers or teachers teach. Every church related thing I attend I feel like I am a successful person, but I am also humble because I realize that I have things to improve on. I get a thrill when I learn how to make myself better. I want to share this gospel with all of my friends and let them feel the way I have felt. I also am excited to share my knowledge with the people in Columbus, Ohio. I know that God has called me there for a reason and I will be his mouthpiece as I convert many souls.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to all of those I come in contact with. "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." -1 Timothy 4:12. I have served as president or first assistant in many youth groups within the church.
