Hi I'm Allyson

I live in Chicago. I am studying elementary education at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Allyson. I am a college student at Brigham Young University and eat Top Ramen on a weekly basis. I am studying elementary education and hope to change lives as I teach young children. I love to play tennis with anyone willing. I am now going out to serve a mission in Cape Verde, Africa. I cannot wait to spread the joy of the gospel to my brothers and sisters there! I am a college student. I am a future sister missionary. And I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church but had to learn for myself the truthfulness of it and gain my own testimony. The peace I feel as I pray and the help that I receive from a loving Father in Heaven provide me with the assurance that this is the true church on the earth. I know that Jesus is the Christ and died for you and for me. I know that we can pray, and through the Atonement, have the ability to repent and to one day return to live with our Father in Heaven. I know this is the true church, and I love it!

How I live my faith

Growing up, I was one of the very few Mormons in grade school up through high school. I was able to share what I believe with my friends and coworkers on a daily basis. I strived to live in such a way that they could see the light and happiness in me. That is what my faith and this gospel gives us!
