Hi I'm Tom Price

I was born in Dunwich England. I have a British Accent. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a good sense of humor and I am always making jokes. I love to watch movies and TV shows of all kinds and talk about them with friends. I spend most of my free time with my friends and family. I spent two semesters going to college and have decided to go on a mission. Going to college was a really cool experience and I enjoyed it very much. I am really immersed in British Culture and love to spend my time in London.

Why I am a Mormon

My whole life I have been raised in the gospel, and am really glad of that. Going to church with my whole family really helped me get a testimony and an understanding of the gospel. I love to live the gospel because it gives a sense of order to my life, but it also gives me opportunities to serve others and to receive blessings. Today we have a living prophet who leads and guides the world in every aspect. As we read in the Bible and Book Of Mormon we can learn the truth of all things with the help of Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

One way I strive to live my faith is by setting an example to the people around me. I try to live the gospel to its fullest to show others the blessings and opportunities that the gospel provides. I have also spent some time helping other leaders plan actives for different groups. Going on a mission has helped me understand my faith as I have helped other come closer unto Christ. I choose to let people know that I am LDS and I am going to live my life in accordance to the revelation we receive in these latter days.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Tom Price
After the death of Christ, the church which he established was persecuted. Eventually all the members were either killed or denied the faith. The priesthood authority which was given to the church, or the apostles, was then lost and taken from the Earth, this is what is called an Apostasy. To be able to understand the need of a restoration of the fullness of the gospel of Christ and his authority we have to understand that after the period of Christ and his original apostles the authority to preform saving ordinances, such as baptism and confirmation, were lost. If not, then the church which Christ set up would still be here today in its original form and the only Christian church on the entire Earth would be that one. We have hundreds of thousands of different churches that profess to believe and live His teachings today. If the priesthood had never been lost there wouldn't be so many different churches, but because it was lost there needed to be a restoration of all things. Without the priesthood authority, which the worthy male members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints hold, entrance into the kingdom of Heavenly Father would be impossible. I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true and living church by which everyone has the opportunity to reach the Kingdom of the Father. Show more Show less
