Hi I'm Caleb Faber

I grew up in Washington State, I love to play soccer, I love spending time with my family and friends and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Caleb and I like to have fun! I am an Eagle Scout and am attending college where I am studying Chemical Engineering. I love to read books and will often read through the night when one is particularly fascinating. My 7 brothers and I are big soccer fans and we all love to play the beatiful game; I unfortunately tore my ACL on New Years Day 2013 which put me out of playing for about a year. As of June 2013 I am serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ and when I finish language training I will serve in Mongolia.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Mormon faith and have been taught through my life about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his plan for us and it has always been a part of my life, but as I have grown I have realized the wonderfulness of Christ's Atonement for me. I can think of no other life that would bring me the joy that I feel when I learn and live the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Through reading the Book of Mormon, prayer and following the commandments of God I have been given a testimony by the Holy Spirit that these things are true. Since I know these things are true I try everyday to align myself with Gods plan for me and become a better person and I have seen the wonderful blessings it brings to both myself and those around me.

How I live my faith

I recently returned from my congregation of young single adults at college where I helped to prepare our chapel each sunday for weekly worship services. I also was able to serve with my roommate in being able to visit monthly with some members of our congregation as 'hometeachers' and help to be of service to them in their daily lives. I also try to live better everyday and to find those throughout my daily lives that I can help and lift in their lives.
