Hi I'm Zach Wilson

I'm a soon-to-be Mormon missionary from the awesome city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!

About Me

I'm a high school senior, getting ready to graduate and see more of the world. I'm the oldest of 6 kids, most of which are half siblings. I've lived in several different places, including New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. I plan on going on a mission to Paraguay in September, and attending college shortly after that! I play football and volleyball, as well as read classic literature for fun. I love sports and reading, but I really love to drive different places across the country. I tend to love diverse groups of people, anyone with any different background fascinates and excites me! I love hearing the opinion's of others about almost anything.

Why I am a Mormon

You have probably already read that I have grown up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Let me first begin by stating that no member of this Church is a member simply because their parents were members. Your path, and my path, come to crossroads, at which point we have the power to choose. I love my savior Jesus Christ because I have been a witness to his changing and healing power. I love this Gospel as a result. I have many members of my family that are not members of this church. I have attended Bar Mitsvahs, Catholic weddings and services, and Protestant services throughout my life, and I have never felt the Spirit of God as I do in the LDS church. Why am I so excited about it? Because I know the happiness that it brings. I believe in it so deeply, that I sacrifice many hours a week, and two full years of my life, to ensure that I am living as I believe God wants me to. I owe the gospel my life, truely. Read the Book of Mormon. I know that it is what millions have said it is, real scripture. Its message of Jesus Christ has more meaning than mine, and will change your life, unlike my personal testimony that I share with you today. This website, and this post, have no significance, compared to beauty of this Gospel. THAT is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly being in the service of others! I give people rides, visit the elderly, participate in projects in the community, etc. The church organizes and plans countless service projects and opportunities to serve others all of the time, and I show my faith in Jesus Christ by serving my fellow man. As a young man, I lead the other teenagers in my area. It's a blast finding time to help others and as a result, serving God. I also live my faith by reading scriptures a little bit, everyday. Prayer is also a wonderful habit that I have as a result of my faith. Most importantly, I live my faith by trying my hardest to help others come closer to Jesus Christ by serving them.
